3 Sure Ways To Find Out If A Website Is Scam Or Paying Today
find out if a website is scam or paying.
In this post, I am going to tell you about some of the methods I use to find out if a website is scam or paying before I review them or make a post about them on this website.
When you find a website to earn money with at first, It is tempting to dive in straight. Sign up and start earning money without knowing if it is paying or not. This is risky. It is even riskier if you need to invest money on the website before you earn. However, even if you don’t need to invest money to earn, it could still be a pain in the ass to work your ass off, and still not get paid for your work. You have just wasted your time.
So in this post, I am going to show you some of the methods I use to ensure that a website is paying, before I start using them.
Check Their Alexa Ranking
This is the first thing I always do whenever I visit a website that I want to join and earn money from. I am in the habit of doing this all the time. I have the alexa toolbar installed on my chrome browser. It is a small chrome extension plugin, and you can get it from here. It shows you how popular a website is, and gives you an idea of how much traffic it gets, how many visitors come to the website daily.
If a website is paying, It surely would have lots of visitors. However, a website that is not paying would not have much visitors. Also some websites you visit and sign up to earn money from, may have been abandoned or just created newly. You can detect this easily with alexa ranking toolbar.
If the alexa ranking of a website is above 1,000,000. I do not review that website or add it here, except if it is coming from a reputable admin, that has owned a popular website before. The smaller the alexa ranking of a website is, the higher it is ranked. The more traffic it gets. For example a website with 100,000 alexa ranking is much more popular than a website with alexa ranking of 1,000,000.
See image below for example of how alexa ranking of a website looks with the chrome extension.
Simply install the alexa ranking toolbar and you can easily see how popular a website is, and this should help convince you if it could be paying or not.
This is method 1 on how to find out if a website is paying or not.
Check The Website On ScamAdviser
This is another great website I use to find out if a website is legit or not. Scamadviser is a great website that helps me a lot with any information I want to find out about a website. It is a very great website to me, and even though it has alternatives, it is the best of its kind. I have never seen any other one that is so clear as it, so intuitive and detailed.
Simply type the name of the website on scamadviser.com, and you are going to find out if the website is safe. You will see how popular it is, the owners information, where it is hosted, date that it was created and hosted, country of owner, and many more. You will also find what other people are saying about the website right there. You will what real users of the website are saying, if it is paying or not.

See facts you should know about the website, and its owner below.
Note: that if a website is new, that doesn’t mean it is scam or not paying. It could just be that they are just getting started. Try method 3 to find out if website is paying, if they are new.
Like I said, you will also see what users are saying about it, but sorry, I couldn’t show the image here. 🙂
This is second method you can use to find out if a website is scam or paying.
Search for their Payment Proofs On Google
This is another method I use. Simply type the name of the website on google and type payment proofs. For example, let’s say we are checking if the website “clixsense” pays. I am going to type on google “clixsense payment proofs” When you do this, you are going to find lots of payment proofs from that website on google, simply by clicking the image section, on google search. See image below for clarity.
